Glossy Glamour

Something bad happened to me this morning! Okay la, it’s not a very bad thing but it sure got me all fired up and hot tempered!

You see hor, this morning when I drove into my college’s car park at 9.10am, I saw an empty parking space near the main entrance. Wah lao eh, this is really something rare, especially at 9 something in the morning, because students who have classes at 8am would have already took up all the parking spaces near the entrance. People like us who come later have to settle for faraway parking spaces and walk underneath the burning hot sun towards the entrance while being weighed down by heavy 10-tonne (useless) textbooks.

So like I was saying, I of course felt very exhilirated upon spotting that empty space. So I parked my car there, made sure it was in the yellow box, and since it was still early to go into class (my class starts at 9.30am today), I waited in my car while listening to S.H.E’s ‘wo men zhe me le’. Then when it was 9.20am, I got out of my car and locked it. And then, that was when the bad incident happened! The security guard in the white uniform came towards me and told me I cannot park there. What the??! Eh friend, no ‘reserved’ sign was put up there okay, unlike other reserved parking spaces. So I assumed that it is okay for anyone to park there lar. I am also very pissed off because the guard didn’t tell me that earlier, when I just parked my car there. Why did he have to wait 10 freaking minutes before telling me??? In that period of 10 minutes, I could have hunted for other parking spaces near the entrance!!! That stupid fella wasted my time and tested my patience!

But because I was rushing for time to hunt for other parking spaces, and because I didn’t wanna make his life difficult, I said "Cannot park here ar? Okay lor.." and walked away! I must have looked very gullible at that time. Stupid security guard, I hope he won’t purposely bully me next time because he thinks I am gullible!

Anyway, I got into my car and started the engine again. Btw, do you know that cars burn up most petrol when we are starting up the engine? Bah, wasted my petrol. It’s okay if petrol is as cheap as water, but no, petrol is damn expensive okay? I’m veering off topic again.. As I was saying, I started the engine and started to look for another parking space again. And as luck would have it, there was another parking space waiting for me. And it is near the entrance as well I think I did a lot of good things recently lar, and I am being rewarded with empty parking spaces near my college’s entrance!

Okay, from today onwards I will do more charity and be nicer to people around me. Just give me one empty parking space near the entrance every morning okay?
